Handcrafted from solid sycamore or oak, this contemporary wall clock explores the interaction between light, shadow, and subtle surface detail. The circular face is carefully carved with shallow fluted markings that define the hours through shifting light rather than applied numerals, creating a minimalist and tactile approach to timekeeping.

Measuring 290mm in diameter, the piece incorporates a reliable quartz mechanism while maintaining a clean sculptural form. The fluted surface is designed to respond particularly well to natural cross light, causing the hour markers to appear and disappear throughout the day as shadows move across the carved contours.

Each clock is individually shaped and finished by hand, highlighting the warmth, grain, and natural character of the timber. The restrained geometric form and subtle detailing allow the piece to function both as a practical timepiece and as a contemporary wall object.
