The ambition with this design was to create a dining chair that was resolutely contemporary, whilst still making reference to classic chair construction. This chair uses hand shaping to achieve its organically patterned seat back.

Erosion is inspired by flowing aspects of nature, and the design reflects that in the curves, shapes and negative space. The seat and back are made from a single piece of quatersawn English oak.
