Mimicking a falling water droplet, the legs of this side table merge together to create a continuous form. It is sculpted so every component is curved, meaning there are no hard edges from any perspective.

I gave this piece a slightly more satin finish than I would usually do, to give full voice to the rippled maple and to accentuate its depth.
